PUBLIC SCHOOLS ATHLETIC LEAGUE

The mission of the Public Schools Athletic League is to provide opportunities for educating students in physical fitness, character development and socialization skills through an athletic program that fosters teamwork, discipline and sportsmanship.

REQUIREMENTS

Students will need to complete a medical form obtained from the Physical Education Department to be eligible for any sports activities facilitated by any members of The H.S. for C.T.E.A or PSAL.

Any student who is absent, arrives late, or is on detention or suspended may not engage in either practice or competition that day. Students who participate in athletic events are expected and encouraged to be in school and on time the day after the event. Both athletes and spectators are expected to act in a sportsmanlike manner at all times. They are expected to remember that they represent the school wherever they are. All rules pertaining to behavior in school apply at sporting events.
