On Monday, October 7, the Queensborough cross country championships were contested at Cunningham Park. Our freshman team consisting of six runners were up for the challenge as some began their training in August. After all runners from all Queensborough schools ran their best. Our six stood tall, and won the freshman championship !
The Redhawks were led by:
Denzel Reyes 1st Place Gold Medal Winner
Aiden Bobb 2nd Place Silver Medal Winner
Chad Domiano 4th Place Bronze Medal Winner
Alexandro Solis Vallejos 11th Place
Matthew Schloss 12th Place
Rohan Soeknandan 15th Place
On October 15th our Sophomores will look to match the freshman and complete their Borough Championships fighting for another first place trophy. Go RedHawks.
