5th Annual NWF’s EcoCareers Conf. 2021 - April 7th & 8th

This year’s online conference will have more sessions, more options, and more opportunities for college and high school students and educators to learn about and prepare for tomorrow’s green workforce.


EcoCareers 2021 will spotlight panels providing advice on launching rewarding careers in the following four sectors:


  • Environmental and Social Justice

  • Health and Wellness

  • Climate Resilience and Green Infrastructure

  • Journalism

Also, hear from leading experts and learn more about:

  • Preparing for the shift toward a clean economy

  • Developing effective, personalized career plans

  • Exploring online sustainability career development resources

  • Identifying top degree programs and project learning credentials

Career Opportunities in Construction with Building Skills NY

(April 9 @ 2-3:30PM)

Students who are interested in learning more about hands-on and administrative career opportunities within the construction industry after high school, the CTE Office in collaboration with Building Skills NY will have a virtual info session on Fri, Apr 9 @ 2-3:30PM.


Building Skills NY assists NYC residents who have long been unable to gain access to careers in the construction industry. Graduating seniors from CTE construction-related programs (carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and any related skilled trade) are highly encourage to attend this session. This session is also viable for younger students should attend as well, so they can be aware such resources like this exist for them; and recent graduates who are interested in learning more.

Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE)

(April 22 @ 3PM - 4PM)

The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) is the largest association dedicated to fostering Hispanic leadership in the STEM field. It raises awareness, provides access, and prepares Hispanic students and professionals to become leaders in science, technology, engineering, and math.

On Thur, Apr 22 @ 3PM-4PM, our featured guests from SHPE will be speaking about their careers and taking any questions or concerns your students may have when it comes to the industry and career readiness. Students with a background or interest in STEM or the construction trades are encouraged to attend. If there are any specific topics you'd like to make sure we address during our virtual workshop, please type them in the registration form.

Bronx Community College Automotive Degree Presentation

If you are interested in learning more about BCC's Automotive degree program and would like to arrange an online presentation or Q & A specifically for your students, please let take a few seconds to fill out the google form below:



ACE Mentor of Greater NY

In addition to the ACE mentorship program, you all are welcome to attend their webinars on professional development topics and college preparation.


These are about one hour each and do not interfere with their ACE hours or school hours. Your participation in these webinars will also count towards your WBL hours. See the dates and topics below. ACE will have monthly webinars planned for 2021 as well, which will be shared at a later date!
