If you, the parent, do not want the previous payment applied to the senior dues and would like a refund check instead, please email me directly (subject line should say “Six flags refund request” with the following information no later than 6/1/22:

  • Parent full name

Please get in the habit of checking your school emails daily.

Below you will find a detailed list of what is included in the senior dues package. You will also see items that are optional, and must be purchased separately. The items included in the senior dues have been discounted as much as possible, since we have been given a package deal. Every student is required to purchase the senior package. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this, please email Ms. Ortiz.

Senior Dues Package - $230 will include:

The final payment will be due by Friday, January 20, 2023. If you need more time to make your payments, please take the time that you need. Students will not be able to purchase a ticket for any of the senior trips or senior prom unless they have been making senior dues payments. Payments can be made at any time; you do not have to wait until the deadlines. Students should see Ms. Ortiz in room 118 to make their payments, Monday through Friday before school from 7:45 am – 8:15 am or after school from 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm.

Below is a link that you can use to schedule your senior portraits. You will need to travel to the studio to take the photo. There are multiple different packages for purchase, but the minimum to sit is $15. This will allow you to take a photo that will be featured in the yearbook, but only includes the yearbook pose and will not be put toward the purchase of any photos. If you pay the $30 fee at your sitting you get multiple poses, and the $30 goes toward whichever packet, digital or physical, that you choose to purchase. The studio will select and send over the photo to be featured in the yearbook.

This fee is paid directly to the studio. Please make sure to schedule your appointment as soon as possible. You need to take your photo no later than October to make sure that it will be featured in the yearbook.

Class of 2022,

Please see the attached flyer for your senior photos. Please make sure you book your appointments during the summer, as we will not have any dates where pictures will be taken at CTEA. All payments and questions should be directed to the studio, their contact information is on the flyer. Senior photos are not mandatory, but your photo will not be in the yearbook if you do not have one taken.

After you receive notification from the studio that your proofs are ready, you will need to log in to your account and choose a yearbook pose. If you do not choose one the studio will choose one for you.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

  • June 8, 2021

Class of 2022,

My name is Ms. Ortiz. I am your Senior Activities Coordinator at CTEA for most things "senior" related, such as senior dues, photos, apparel, rings, prom and graduation.

I'm reaching out to you now to inform you that senior photos will be taken during the summer. In the next few days I will be sending you all the details on how to sign up and book an appointment, the location of the photo studio, etc. Please note that CTEA will not have any dates for senior photos in our building, so you must go to the studio. Portraits USA will be offering flexible scheduling so that you can pick a day that works best for you and your family. Any fees associated with the senior photos will be made to Portraits USA, not to HS for CTEA.

I know today is the last day of classes and I want to remind you that it is imperative that you continue to check your hsfortea email throughout the summer. This is the easiest, most efficient way for us to communicate and keep up with deadlines and information. Senior year goes very fast and you do not want to miss out on anything!!

Additionally, I would like to suggest that you check this page frequently for updates. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me here or at

I will be sending out a formal letter regarding senior dues by the end of this month.

Wishing you all well on your finals and exams.

Portraits USA, Inc. is committed to the safety of students, staff and parents. All attire, props and stations are regularly sanitized with Isopropyl alcohol, bleach, Lysol and other CDC approved cleaners, in addition to UV Light sanitation. We have also obtained a large studio space in order to maintain social distance guidelines and have limited the number of students allowed in at once (only those being photographed are allowed in), in addition to obtaining multiple HEPA air filtration systems. Temperature checks and symptom screenings are done and masks must be worn at all times except when the student is getting photographed. We photograph one school a day.
